Meteorite Strikes Russia!

A small meteorite struck central Russia at 9:20 a.m. local time.  The sonic booms from the blast broke windows over a wide area and sent more than 500 people to hospital.  An impact crater has been reported but not confirmed.  It’s unclear whether the meteorite is related to the asteroid 2012 DA14 that will pass by Earth later today.  Here’s a video of part of the event…
